Through the years, I have seen James Trimm go from just trying to promote his brand of belief, as mongrel as it is, to now claiming to be the 144,000 mentioned in Revelations. James likes to use faulty logic to promote his ideas and to feed these ideas to his followers. For example: I have seen at one of his forums where he said that only a prophet could give an understanding of certain prophecies. He then proceeded to list several prophets and gave examples where they had been given the interpretation to a prophecy. This was one study he posted. Then later, he proceeds to give an interpretation to a prophecy in Revelations. By James logic, A + B = C. If only a prophet can give an interpretation and he gave an interpretation, then he must be a prophet. James has not only exalted himself in many respects, but is now claiming to be a torah teacher and therefore the recipient of the tithes that were given to the priests. Again faulty logic. Tithes given to torah teacher + he claims to be a torah teacher = giving tithes to him.

Trait 1: Glibness/superficial charm
Glibness is a hallmark of [cult leaders]. They are able to use language effortlessly to beguile, confuse, and convince. They are captivating storytellers. They exude self-confidence and are able to spin a web that intrigues others and pulls them into the [cult leader’s] life.
James Trimm has spoken whatever language was necessary to reach his target audience. When writing to the Mormons, he spoke to them that the Book of Mormon was a Semitic document and told them that they were the tribe of Ephraim. When speaking to a Jewish or Messianic Jewish audience he spoke to them of the Peshitta and the Hebrew roots and the Nazarene sect and the tribe of Judah. When speaking to Christians he spoke to them of the Hebraic roots, yet to Messianics he said that Jesus was the anti-christ and Christianity a pagan religion.

Trait 2: Manipulative and conning
Cult leaders do not recognize the individuality or rights of others, which makes all self-serving behaviors permissible. The hallmark of the [cult leader] is the psychopathic maneuver, which is essentially interpersonal manipulation “based on charm. The manipulator appears to be helpful, charming even ingratiating or seductive, but is covertly hostile, domineering…”
James Trimm has always been very nice and seducing to anyone who seeks him out, praises him, yet the minute that anyone questions him or reveals any aspect of his unrighteousness, he turns on them and attacks, even to the point of lying and slandering to protect himself, which is why the first web site that I set up about him was done in the first place.
Trait 3: Grandiose sense of self
The cult leader enjoys tremendous feelings of entitlement. He believes everything is owed to him as a right. Preoccupied with his own fantasies, he must always be the center of attention. He presents himself as the ‘Ultimate One’: enlightened, a vehicle of god, a genius, the leader of humankind, and sometimes even the most humble of humble. He has an insatiable need of adulation and attendance. His grandiosity may also be a defense against inner emptiness, depression, and a sense of insignificance.
James Trimm always sets himself up to be the ONE; the one who is Jewish above others, the one who has a doctorate in Semitic languages; the one to translate the Peshitta; the one to resurrect the "sect" of the Nazarenes; the one to be the Nasi of the Nazarene Beit Din; etc. James does not defer to anyone else as an authority or specialist, but always maintains himself as the source and the head. He will not submit to another authority over him. He is now claiming that his Nazarenes are the 144,000 listed in Revelations.

Undeserved attention this is a post where Paul Younan states that Trimm cant speak Aramaic, cant hold a 30 sec conversation in it, is not a "Dr." and should not be addressed as such, and doesn't want to give him anymore undeserved attention.
Trait 4: Pathological lying
[Cult leaders] lie coolly and easily, even when it is obvious they are being untruthful. It is almost impossible for them to be consistently truthful about either a major or minor issue. They lie for no apparent reason, even when it would seem easier and safer to tell the truth… These manipulators are rarely original thinkers. Plagerists and thieves, they seldom credit the true originators of ideas, often co-opting authorship. They are extremely convincing, forceful in the expression of their views, and talented at passing lie detector tests. For them, objective truth does not exist. The only "truth" is whatever will best achieve the outcome that meets their needs.
James Trimm fits this description to a T. His constant lying is what got him into so much trouble in the first place. Instead of admitting his unrighteous behavior and repenting, he told another lie to excuse his behavior and kept telling more lies to cover the previous one. Not only has James lied about everything, including his ethnicity and education, but he has lied about his translating Aramaic and Hebrew documents and committed plagiarism. There are too many pages to list as links, it would basically duplicate the Trimm pages to show all his lies. The following is the first list I compiled about James lies in a letter to Michael Detwiler, the Vice-President of SANJ and Av of the beit din.
After this time, it was no longer just his slander, but his lies of his false ethnicity, his false doctorate, false translations and posts that he had made under other names that were uncovered. For those lies, I have simply linked to the pages.

Trait 5: Lack of remorse, shame or guilt
…[cult leaders] see those around them as objects, targets, or opportunities, not as people. They do not have friends, they have victims and accomplices – and the latter frequently end as victims. For [cult leaders], the ends always justify the means. Thus there is no place for feelings of remorse, shame, or guilt. Cult leaders feel justified in all their actions since they consider themselves the ultimate moral arbiter. Nothing gets in their way.
James Trimm had no shame in slandering Mrs. H to protect the information that she knew, that he was portraying himself to be Rabbi Yosef on the Mormon forums, advocating the Book of Mormon. James had no shame in slandering me and lying to protect himself from his slander and all the other lies that I uncovered, even when his own appointed Beit Din told him to repent. James had no shame when he slandered Rabbi Stan Eisenberg, who knew of James past. In all situations, James has never repented of his slander and lies or any other unrighteous behavior.
Trait 6: Shallow emotions
…Hiding behind the “mask of sanity”, the cult leader exposes feelings insofar as they serve an ulterior motive. He can witness or order acts of utter brutality without experiencing a shred of emotion. He casts himself in a role of total control, which he plays to the hilt. What is most promised in cults – peace, joy, enlightenment, love, and security – are goals that are forever out of reach of the leader, and thus also the followers. Since the leader is not genuine, neither are his promises.
This is quite apparent if you spend any time at James Trimm's forums. His forums are full of strife. Where he says that they are not monitored, they are. Anyone posting contrary to him or about him, all the sudden their posts are not there, other posts may be deleted form the forum. There is no peace or shalom there. He cannot sand up to public scrutiny and therefore has to control what is being said to give the appearance that all is well in Trimm land. He does not mind casting an objector to his pack of loyalist wolves to be torn apart with lies and slander, while he sits back comfortably, until the next objector posts and the scene is repeated.

Trait 7: Incapacity for love
As the “living embodiment of God’s love,” the leader is tragically flawed in being able to either give or receive love…
…The leader’s tremendous need to be loved is accompanied by an equally strong disbelief in the love offered him by his followers…
James Trimm does not show love or compassion on any of his forums or through emails. He promotes knowledge, a false knowledge at that. He does not love those that are within his core group, for if anyone spoke against him, he would instantly turn on them, as he has, not pray for them and help them as a brother or sister. He either solicits you or attacks you, but there is no evidence of love from this man at all.
Trait 8: Need for stimulation
Thrill-seeking behaviors, often skirting the letter or spirit of the law, are common among [cult leaders]…
James Trimm pushes the boundaries of what is righteous or even the law of men. He does not abide by mans laws in getting or giving degrees. He does not abide by YHWH's laws as far as anything concerning the Thorah. A good example of this is the taking of a minor, that he got pregnant, from her home without her parents blessings and crossed state lines. He was not divorced from his first wife yet. Shortly after the divorce for the first wife was finalized and the the minor was of age, he married his second wife. This not only breaks the laws of YHWH, but also those of man.
Trait 9: Callousness/lack of empathy
[Cult leaders] readily take advantage of others, expressing utter contempt for anyone else’s feelings. Someone in distress is not important to them. Although intelligent, perceptive, and quite good at sizing people up, they make no real connections with others. They use their “people skills” to exploit, abuse, and wield power.
This is what James Trimm is all about, using people up. He will get what he can from them, use whatever skills they have and then discard them when they are no longer of any use to him.
Trait 10: Poor behavioral controls/impulsive nature
Like small children, many [cult leaders] have difficulty regulating their emotions. Adults who have temper tantrums are frightening to be around. Rage and abuse, alternating with token expressions of love and approval, produce an addictive cycle for both abuser and abused, as well as create a sense of hopelessness in the latter…
Who could possibly control someone who believes himself to be all-powerful, all-knowing, and entitled to every wish, someone who has no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for the impact on those around him? Generally this aberrant behavior is a well-kept secret, known only to a few disciples. The others see only perfection…
I have thankfully had next to no personal contact with James Trimm. I have seen him freak on a few forums when someone got through with some information about him that he could not control. I also have a copy of a criminal misdemeanor record of his which shows an assault with bodily injury charge against his own daughter. Rabbi Stan Eisenberg also stated that Trimm's first wife had called Stan and his wife for help because Trimm was abusing her and she was fearing for herself and her daughter. She was taken to a safe house. After this incident, James stalked the home of Rabbi Eisenberg.

Trait 11: Early behavior problems/juvenile delinquency
[Cult leaders] frequently have a history of behavioral and academic difficulties. They often “get by” academically, conning other students and teachers. Encounters with juvenile authorities are frequent. Equally prevalent are difficulties in peer relationships and developing and keeping friends, marked control problems, and other aberrant behaviors such as stealing, fire setting, and cruelty to others.
While I have not spent much time digging into James Trimm's juvenile years, I am aware of an unlawful transmission of fire charge against James when he was 20. I have also heard a report of a shoplifting charge, but the charge was not in Tarrant Co, to my knowledge and I only searched Tarrant Co. Concerning the aspect of conning others about his academics, this is a constant con. James did not graduate High School, but later received a GED. He did not earn a bachelors, masters and definitely not the doctorate that he claims. He cons other professionals with plagiarisms and bullies others with his fake degrees.

(at various levels) of Arabic, Aramaic, Portuguese, and Spanish. Also have knowledge
of American Sign Language (ASL). Despite the fact that the gentleman is a counter-missionary
advocate, his background in Hebrew is enough to tell that James does not know
Hebrew and Aramaic fluently. This is not the first time that Trimm has been
caught not knowing the languages that he says that he has a doctorate in and
has the gall to say that he translates and sells.
Trait 12: Irresponsibility/unreliability
Not concerned about the consequences of their behavior, [cult leaders] leave behind them the wreckage of others’ lives and dreams. They may be totally oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they inflict on others, something which they regard as neither their problem nor their responsibility. [Cult leaders] rarely accept blame for their failures or mistakes. Scapegoating is common, blaming followers, those outside the group, a member’s family, the government, Satan – anyone and everyone but the leader…
James Trimm has done all the above. He has blamed the government concerning his illegally offering degrees on his online yeshiva. He has blamed Mrs. H for beginning to reveal that he was Rabbi Yosef. He has blamed me for revealing a host of his lies and deceptions. He blamed Rabbi Stan Eisenberg and that assembly, claiming false reasons for his expulsion. The list goes on, when you take his forums into account.

Trait 13: Promiscuous sexual behavior/infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, polygamy, rape, and sexual acting out of all sorts are frequently practiced by cult leaders. Conversely, there is often stringent sexual control of the followers through such tactics as enforced celibacy, arranged marriages, forced breakups and divorces, removal of children from their parents, forced abortions or mandated births. For [cult leaders], sex is primarily a control and power issue…
James Trimm was originally kicked out of an assembly, partly due to his sexual misconduct. When James went to Denver, he was welcomed into the home of a Messianic community member. James then proceeded to sleep with his daughter, while he was still legally married to his first wife. The daughter was a minor. He then took the minor across state lines without the permission of her parents. While I am not aware of any recent sexual indiscretions, I believe this behavior still exists.
Trait 14: Lack of realistic life plan/parasitic lifestyle
The [cult leader] tends to move around a lot, making countless efforts at “starting over” while seeking out fertile new ground to exploit…
James Trimm has sought many new grounds [groups] to, changing his stand and appearance as time has gone by. He sought Way International and former Way members, Mormons, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Messianic Jews, Essenes, those into Qaballah, Semiticists, archaeologists, Lost Tribes or Ephraimites, all of which to draw into his web of Nazarene Judaism, of which he is the head. He has sought donations for research, publications, a yeshiva and synagogue, hoping to establish a whole compound that he would, of course, be head of.

And if that were not enough, James has begun his own union, to rival that of UMJC and MJAA. The ironic thing is that in his early posts, he speaks against the other organizations as human, and here he has made the ultimate "human" move and created exactly what he spoke against in trying to woo others away from the UMJC and MJAA.
Trait 15: Criminal or entrepreneurial versatility
Cult leaders change their image and that of the group as needed to avoid prosecution and litigation, to increase their income, and to recruit a range of members. Cult leaders have an innate ability to attract followers who have the skills and connections that the leaders lack. The longevity of the group is dependent on the willingness of the leadership to adapt as needed and preserve the group. Frequently, when illegal or immoral activities are exposed to the public, the cult leader will relocate, sometimes taking followers with him. He will keep a low profile, only to resurface later with a new name, a new front group, and perhaps a new twist on the scam.
James Trimm has numerous times sought certain documents that he wished to exploit and would advertise for these on his forums and various other forums. He has changed the name of his organization as he centralized his objective. He changed his web site to avoid legal action from the State of Texas Dept. of Higher Education. He changed his ethnicity and education to appear acceptable to the groups he wished to seduce. He changed his statements of belief, depending on what group he was speaking to. James is as a chameleon, yet where a chameleon is harmless, James is dangerous.
