As you all know since November 16th I have had several things take place: This series of events has delayed publication of the HRV by an additional three to four weeks. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone these things have simply taken me out of the loop for nearly a month. Meanwhile publication of the HRV is still just around the corner. For those not familiar with the HRV Scriptures, this new Messianic Scriptures Version will have: 1) A "New Testament" portion translated from Hebrew and Aramaic rather than Greek sources. 2) A restoration of the original manuscript order of the books not just for the Tanak but for the "New Testament" portion as well. (The NT has the Four Gospels; Acts; Jewish Epistles; Pauline Epistles; Revelation). 3) Sacred Names and Titles preserved in Hebrew rather than translated into English names and titles. There are footnotes indicating the 134 places where the Massorah indicates that the scribes had altered YHWH to ADONAI in the Hebrew of the Masoretic Text. Also the Sacred Name appears as YHWH and in the NT portion this is based on actual manuscript evidence (The Hebrew and Aramaic NT sources distinguish between YHWH and ADONAI). 4) A Messianic edition using Messianic terminology. 5) Is the first Messianic/Sacred Name "STUDY BIBLE" with over 20 pages of charts diagrams and color maps, over 50 pages of introductory information and over 2,000 footnotes. The HRV Website at http://www.hebraicrootsversion.com will be updated with additional material in the next few days. We are raising the funds needed to pay the very large printing costs for the Hebraic Roots Version of the Scriptures Messianic Study Bible. This is a very important work.
