Mark 1-4

Below is a side by side comparison of the Way International's translation of the Peshitta and James Trimm's plagiarism of their text. The names that James changed to a semitic one are in blue, such as YHWH for lord and those based on Stern's Complete Jewish Bible, that he previously used to plagiarize for his B'sorot Matti. Any other words or phrases that are not part of the Way text, are in red. A number of thoses phrases are obviously influenced by the texts that he is referencing, as noted by his footnotes. An example of this is 1:19, where he has it footnoted as 406. Many of the words in red are simply his choice, such as pallet for bed, trust for faith, teaching for doctrine, entire for all, authorized for lawful, truly for verily, and like for as. As mentioned on the HRV page, James obviously plagiarized another text and lied in his stating that he translated it. Coming soon is a page of errors that James made or copied from the Way translation.

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus the Messiah, the son of God.
2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet, Behold, I will send my messenger before your face that he might prepare your way,
3 a voice which cries in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the lord and make straight his paths.
4 John was in the wilderness baptizing and preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
5 And all the region of Judea was going out to him and all the citizens of Jerusalem, and he was baptizing them in the Jordan after their sins had been confessed.
6 Now John was clothed with a garment of the hair of camels and was bound [with] leather around his loins, and his food was locusts and honey from the wild.
7 And he was preaching and saying, Behold, after me comes one who is more powerful than me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop and loose.
8 I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with holy spirit.
9 And it was in those days [that] Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John.
10 And immediately when he came up from the water, he saw the heavens split and the spirit, as a dove, descend upon him.
11 And there was a voice from heaven: You are my beloved son in whom I am pleased.
12 And immediately the spirit drove him into the wilderness.
13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild beasts, and angels were ministering to him.
14 Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came to Galilee and was preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.
15 And he said, The time is complete. The kingdom of God has arrived. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
16 And while walking round about the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother who were casting nets into the sea, for they were fishermen.
17 And Jesus said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishermen of men.
18 And immediately they left their nets and followed him.
19 And as he went on a little further, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother who were mending their nets and also were in a boat.
20 And he called them and immediately they left Zebedee, their father, in the boat with the hired servants and followed him.
21 And when they entered Capernaum, immediately he was teaching on the sabbaths in their synagogues.
22 And they were amazed at his doctrine, for he was teaching them as an authority and not as their scribes.
23 And there was in their synagogue a man in whom was an unclean spirit. And he called out
24 and said, What have we to do with you, Jesus [you] Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you, who you are, the holy one of God.
25 And Jesus rebuked him and said, Shut your mouth and come out of him.
26 And the unclean spirit threw him down and cried out with a loud voice and went out of him.
27 And all of them were amazed and were inquiring one with another and saying, What is this? And what [is] this new doctrine? For with authority even the unclean spirits he commands, and they obey him.
28 And immediately his fame went out into all the land of Galilee.
29 And they departed from the synagogue and came to the house of Simon and of Andrew with James and John,
30 And the mother-in-law of Simon was ill with a fever and they told him about her.
31 And he came and took her by her hand and raised her up. And immediately her fever left her, and she ministered to them.
32 Now in the evening at the going down of the sun, they brought to him all those who were diseased and possessed.
33 And all the city was gathered at the door.
34 And he healed many who were diseased with diverse weaknesses, and he cast out many devils. And he did not allow the devils to speak because they knew him.
35 And in the morning he got up very early, and went to a secluded place and there was praying.
36 And Simon and those with him were looking for him.
37 And when they found him, they said to him, Everyone is looking for you.
38 [And] he said to them, Walk into the villages and cities that are nearby for there also I will preach, for I have come to [do] this.
39 And he was preaching in all their synagogues in all Galilee, and casting out devils.
40 And a leper came to him and fell at his feet and was entreating him and said to him, If you want to, you can heal me.
41 And Jesus had compassion on him and stretched out his hand [and] touched him and said, I want to; be clean.
42 And in that hour his leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.
43 And he charged him and sent him away
44 and said to him, See [that] you tell no man, but go, show yourself to the priests, and offer an offering for your purification as Moses commanded for their testimony.
45 But when he departed, he began a lot of preaching and made known the event, so that Jesus was not able openly to enter the city but was outside in a deserted place. And they were coming to him from every place.

CHAPTER 2
1 And Jesus again entered into Capernaum after some time. And when they heard that he was in the house,
2 many gathered so that [the house] was not able to hold them, not even before the door. And he was speaking the word with them,
3 and they came and brought to him a paralytic, bearing him between four [men].
4 And [when] they were not able to draw near to him because of the crowd, they climbed up to the roof and lifted the covering of the place where Jesus was, and they lowered the bed upon which the paralytic was laid.
5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to that paralytic, My son, your sins are forgiven you.
6 But there were there of the scribes and Pharisees who were sitting and reasoning in their heart,
7 Why does this [man] speak blasphemy? Who is able to forgive sins but one, God?
8 But Jesus knew in his spirit that they were reasoning among themselves, and he said to them, Why do you reason these [things] in your heart?
9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven you or to say, Rise, take up your bed and walk?
10 But that you might know that it is lawful [for] the son of man to forgive sins on earth, he said to the paralytic,
11 I say to you, Rise, take up your bed, and go to your house.
12 And he got up immediately and took his bed and departed in the sight of all, so that all of them were amazed and praised God, saying, Never had they seen such.
13 And he went again to the sea, and all the multitude came to him, and he was teaching them.
14 And while passing by he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus, who was sitting at the custom house, and he said to him, Follow me. And he got up [and] followed him.
15 And it happened that when he was seated [to eat] in his house, many publicans and sinners were seated [to eat] with Jesus and with his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
16 And the scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and with sinners, said to his disciples, Why does he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
17 But when Jesus heard [this] he said to them, The whole do not have need for a physician, but those who are diseased. I did not come that I might call the just, but the sinners.
18 Now the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting and came saying to him, Why [do] the disciples of John and the Pharisees fast and your disciples not fast?
19 Jesus said to them, Are the friends admitted to the marriage able to fast as long as the bridegroom is with them? No!
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in that day.
21 No man places a new patch and sews [it] onto an old garment, lest that new patch take away from the old and the tear become worse.
22 And no man puts new wine into old wineskins lest the wine burst the wineskins, and the wineskins are destroyed, and the wine is poured out; but they put new wine into new wineskins.
23 And it happened that when Jesus went [through] the sown fields on the sabbath, his disciples were walking and picking the heads of grain.
24 The Pharisees were saying to him, See, why are they doing something that is not lawful [to do] on the sabbath?
25 Jesus said to them, Have you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry, [both] he and those with him,
26 how he entered the house of God, while Abiathar [was] high priest, and ate the bread of the table of the lord, which was not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?
27 And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

28 Thus also, the son of man is the lord of the sabbath.

CHAPTER 3
1 And Jesus again entered into the synagogue, and there was there a certain man whose hand was withered.
2 And they were watching him so that if he healed him on the sabbath, they might accuse him.
3 And he said to that man whose hand was withered, Stand up in the midst.
4 And he also said to them, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do that which is good or that which is evil? To save life or to destroy [it]? But they were silent.
5 And he looked on them with anger, being saddened by the hardness of their heart. And he said to that man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched [it] out and his hand was restored.

6 And the Pharisees went out immediately with the Herodians and took counsel against him how they might destroy him.
7 And Jesus went with his disciples to the sea and many people were joining with him from Galilee and from Judah.
8 And from Jerusalem and from Idumaea and from beyond Jordan, and from Tyre and from Sidon, many crowds who had heard all that he had done came to him.
9 And he asked his disciples to bring him a boat because of the crowds, lest they press upon him.
10 For he had healed many up to the point that they fell upon him in order to touch him.
11 And those who had infirmities of unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down and cried out and were saying, You are the son of God.
12 And he severely rebuked them that they not reveal him.
13 And he ascended into a mountain and called those whom he wanted, and they came to him.
14 And he chose twelve to be with him and that he might send them to preach
15 and to be authorities to heal the sick and cast out devils.
16 And he named Simon the name Cephas,
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James he gave the name Boanerges, which is, sons of thunder.
18 And [he chose] Andrew and Philip and Bartholomew and Matthew and Thomas and James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus and Simon the Canaanite,
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him; and they came to a house.
20 And the crowds gathered again so that they were not able to eat bread.
21 And his kinsmen heard and went out to seize him, for they were saying that he was out of his mind.
22 And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, Beelzebub is in him, and he casts out devils by the chief of the devils.
23 And Jesus called them and in parables said to them, How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 And if Satan stands against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand but is [at] his end.
27 No man is able to enter the house of a strong man and to seize his possessions except he first bind the strong man and then plunder his house.
28 Verily, I say to you that all of the sins and blasphemies that men will blaspheme will be forgiven them.
29 But he who blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty before the judgment that is eternal
30 because they were saying that he has in him an unclean spirit.
31 And his mother and his brothers came and standing outside, they sent to call him to them.
32 Now the crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside seeking you.
33 And he answered and said to them, Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?
34 And he gazed at those sitting with him and said, Behold my mother and behold my brothers.
35 For he who does the will of God is my brother and my sister and my mother.

CHAPTER 4
1 And again he began to teach by the sea. And large crowds were gathered around him so that he embarked and sat in a boat on the sea, and all the crowd was standing on the land by the sea.
2 And he was teaching them in parables often and said in his teaching,
3 Listen. Behold, a sower went out to sow
4 and while he sowed, one [seed] fell along the way and a bird came and ate it.
5 And another fell upon rock where there was not much earth, and immediately it sprouted because there was no depth of earth.
6 But when the sun came up [the plant] withered and because it had no root, it dried up.
7 And another fell among the thorns. And the thorns grew up and choked it and it did not bear fruit.
8 But another fell upon good earth and grew up and matured and bore fruit, some thirty and some sixty and some one hundred [fold].
9 And he said, Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.
10 Now when they were alone, those who were with him with his twelve asked him about that parable.
11 And Jesus said to them, To you is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to [those] outside, everything is in parables
12 so that when they see, they will see yet not see, and when they hear, they will hear yet not understand lest they return and their sins be forgiven them.
13 And he said to them, Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand all parables?
14 The sower who sowed, sowed the word.
15 And those [seed] that were by the road are those in whom the word is sown. And when they have heard, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in their heart.
16 And those that were sown upon rock are those that when they have heard the word immediately receive it with joy.
17 And they have no root in themselves but they are temporary. And when affliction or persecution happen on account of the word, they are quickly offended.
18 And those that were sown among thorns are those who have heard the word
19 and the care of this world and the deceit of riches and the rest of the other lusts enter [and] choke the word, and it is without fruit.
20 And those that were sown on good ground are those who have heard the word and receive [it] and bear fruit thirty times and sixty times and one hundred times.
21 And he said to them, Is there any profit for a lamp to be placed under a bushel or under a bed? Should it not be placed upon a lampstand?
22 For there is not anything that is hidden that will not be revealed or [anything] done in secret and not revealed.
23 If a man has ears to hear, let him hear.
24 And he said to them, Watch what you hear. With that measure that you measure it is measured to you, and it is increased to you who hear.
25 For he who has, it will be given to him. And he who has not, even that which he has will be taken from him.
26 And he said, Such is the kingdom of God as a man who casts seed upon the ground.
27 And he will sleep and rise in the night and in the day, and the seed will grow and sprout though he does not know [how],
28 for the land brings forth the fruit. And first comes the plant, and after it the ear, and finally the full grain in the ear.
29 And when the fruit is ripe, immediately the sickle comes because the harvest has arrived.
30 And he said, What is like the kingdom of God and with what parable can we compare it?
31 It is as a grain of mustard, which when it is planted in the ground, is the least of all the seeds that are upon earth.
32 And when it is planted it grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs and produces great branches so that the bird is able to nest in its shade.
33 With parables such as these Jesus was speaking with them, parables such as they were able to hear.
34 And without parables, he was not speaking with them. But he was explaining everything to his disciples privately.
35 And he said to them on the same day at evening, Let us cross over to the other shore.
36 And they left the crowds and conducted him away while in a boat, and there were other boats with them.
37 And there was a great storm and wind, and waves were falling into the boat, and [the boat] was about to be filled.
38 And Jesus was asleep on a pillow in the stern of the ship, and they came [and] aroused him and were saying to him, Master, do you not care that we perish?
39 And he rose up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Cease; be confined. And the wind ceased and a great calm occurred.
40 And he said to them, Why are you fearful in this manner? And why do you not have faith?
41 And they greatly feared and were saying one to another, Who indeed is this [man] that the winds and sea obey him?

1 The beginning of the good news of Yeshua, the Messiah, the Son of Eloah.
2 As it is written in Yesha`yahu the prophet, Behold, I will send my messenger before your face that he might prepare your way,
3 A voice which cries in the wilderness, Prepare the way of YHWH and make straight his paths.
4 Yochanan was in the wilderness immersing and proclaiming the immersion of repentance for the forgiveness of sins
5 And all the region of Y'hudah was going out to him and all the sons of Yerushalayim, and he was immersing them in the Yardan when their sins had been confessed.
6 Now Yochanan was clothed with garment of the hair of camels and was bound [with] leather around his loins, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
7 And he was proclaiming and saying, Behold, after me comes one who is more powerful than me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop and loose.
8 I have immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in Ruach HaKodesh.
9 And it was in those days [that] Yeshua came from Natzeret of Galil and was immersed in the Yardan by Yochanan.
10 And immediately when he came up from the water he saw the heavens split and the spirit, like a dove, descend upon him.
11 And there was a voice from heaven; You are my beloved son in whom I am pleased.
12 And immediately the spirit drove him to the wilderness.
13 And he was there <in the wilderness> forty days while being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild beasts, and angels were ministering to him.
14 And after Yochanan was delivered up, Yeshua came to Galil and was proclaiming the good news of the <Kingdom of> Eloah.
15 And he said, The time is complete. The kingdom of Eloah has arrived. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
16 And while walking round about the sea of Galil, he saw Shim'on and Andrew his brother who were casting nets into the sea, because they were fishermen.
17 And Yeshua said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of the sons of men.
18 And immediately they left their nets and followed him.
19 And as he walked on again, he saw Ya'akov bar Zavdai, and Yochanan his brother who were mending their nets and also were in a boat.
20 And he called them and immediately they left Zavdai, their father, in the boat with the hired servants and followed him.
21 And when they entered K'far-Nachum, immediately he was teaching on the Sabbath in their synagogues.
22 And they were amazed at his teaching, for he was teaching them like an authority and not like their scribes.
23 And there was in that same synagogue a man in whom was an unclean spirit. And he called out
24 and said, What have we to do with you, Yeshua the Natzrati? Have you come to destroy us? I know you, who you are, the holy one of Eloah.
25 And Yeshua rebuked him and said, Shut your mouth and come out of him.
26 And the unclean spirit threw him down and cried out with a mighty voice and went out of him.
27 And amazement was taking hold of all of them and they were inquiring one with another and saying, What is this? And what [is] this new teaching? For with authority even the unclean spirits he commands, and they obey him.
28 And immediately his fame went out into all the land of Galil.
29 And they departed from the synagogue and came to the house of Shim'on Kefa and Andrew, and Ya'akov and Yochanan were with him,
30 And the mother-in-law of Shim'on was ill with a fever and they told him concerning her.
31 And he came and took her by her hand and raised her up and she arose. And immediately her fever left her, and she ministered to them.
32 Now <in the evening> at the going down of the sun, they brought to him all those who were diseased with hard infirmities.
33 And the entire city was gathered at his door.
34 And he healed many <who were diseased with diverse weaknesses,> and he cast out many devils. And he did not allow the devils to speak because they knew him.
35 And in the morning he got up very early, and went to a secluded place and there was praying.
36 And Shim'on and those with him were looking for him.
37 And when they found him, they said to him, many men are looking for you.
38 [And] he said to them, Walk into the villages and cities that are nearby for there also I will proclaim, for I have come to [do] this.
39 And he was proclaiming in all their synagogues in all Galil, and casting out devils.
40 And one leper came to him and fell at his feet and was entreating him and said to him, If you want to, you can cleanse me.
41 And Yeshua had compassion on him and stretched out his hand [and] touched him and said, I want to; be clean.
42 And in that hour his leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.
43 And he charged him and sent him away
44 and said to him, See [that] you tell no man, but go, show your nefesh to the cohenim, and offer an offering for your purification as Moshe commanded for their testimony.
45 But when he departed, he began a lot of proclaiming and made known the event, so that Yeshua was not able in the open to enter the city but was outside in a deserted place. And they were coming to him from every place.

CHAPTER 2
1 And Yeshua again entered into K'far-Nachum after some time. And when they heard that he was in the house,
2 Many gathered so that [the house] was not able to hold them, not even before the door. And he was speaking the word with them,
3 and they came and brought to him a paralytic, while bearing him between four [men].
4 And [when] they were not able to draw near to him because of the crowd, they climbed up to the roof and lifted the covering of the place where Yeshua was, and they lowered the pallet upon which the paralytic was laid.
5 And when Yeshua saw their trust, he said to that paralytic, My son, your sins are forgiven you.
6 But there were there of the scribes and P'rushim who were sitting and reasoning in their heart,
7 Why does this [man] speak blasphemy? Who is able to forgive sins but one, Eloah?
8 But Yeshua knew in his spirit that they were reasoning among their nefeshot, and he said to them, Why do you reason these things in your heart?
9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven you or to say, Rise, take up your pallet and walk?
10 But that you might know that it is authorized [for] the Son of Man to forgive sins on earth, he said to the paralytic,
11 I say to you, Rise, take up your pallet, and go to your house.
12 And he got up immediately and took his pallet and departed in the sight of all, so that all of them were amazed and praised Eloah, while saying, Never had they seen such.
13 And he went again to the sea, and the entire multitude came to him, and he was teaching them.
14 And while passing by he saw Levi bar Alphaeus, who was sitting at the customhouse, and he said to him, Follow me. And he got up [and] followed him.
15 And it happened that when he was seated [to eat] in his house, many publicans and sinners were seated [to eat] with Yeshua and with his talmidim, for there were many, and they followed him.
16 And the scribes and the P'rushim, when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and with sinners, said to his talmidim, Why does he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
17 But when Yeshua heard [this] he said to them, The whole do not have need for a physician, but those who are very diseased. I did not come that I might call the just, but the sinners.
18 Now the talmidim of Yochanan and the P'rushim were fasting and came saying to him, Why [do] the talmidim of Yochanan and the P'rushim fast and your talmidim not fast?
19 Yeshua said to them, Are the sons of the bride-chamber able to fast as long as the bridegroom is with them? No!
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in that day.
21 No man places a new patch <and sews [it]> onto an old garment, lest the fullness of that new patch take away from the old and the tear become worse than the former one.
22 And no man puts new wine into old wineskins, and the wineskins are destroyed, and the wine is poured out; but they put new wine into new wineskins.
23 And it happened that when Yeshua went [through] the sown fields on the Sabbath, his talmidim were eating the heads of grain.
24 The P'rushim were saying to him, See, why are they doing something that is not authorized [to do] on the Sabbath?
25 Yeshua said to them, Have you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry, he and those with him,
26 How he entered the house of Eloah, and ate the bread of the table of YHWH, which was not authorized to eat except for the cohenim, and gave also to those who were with him?

27 And he said to them, The Sabbath was made for a son of man, and not a son of man for the sabbath.
28 Thus also, the Son of Man is the Adonai of the Sabbath.

CHAPTER 3
1 And Yeshua again entered into the synagogue, and there was there <one> man whose hand was withered.
2 And they were watching him so that if he healed him on the Sabbath, they might accuse him.
3 And he said to that man whose hand was withered, Stand up in the midst.
4 And he also said to them, Is it authorized to do that which is good on the sabbath or that which is evil? To save life or to destroy? But they were silent.
5 And he looked on them with anger, while being saddened concerning the hardness of their heart. And he said to that man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out and his hand was restored like the other.
6 And the P'rushim went out immediately with the House of Herod and took counsel against him how they might destroy him.
7 And Yeshua went with his talmidim to the sea and many people were joining with him from Galil and from Y'hudah.
8 And from Yerushalayim and from Idumaea and from the crossing of the Yardan, and from Tzor and from Tzidon, many crowds who had heard all that he had done came to him.
9 And he asked his talmidim to bring him a boat because of the crowds, lest they press upon him.
10 For he had healed many up to the point that they fell upon him in order to touch him.
11 And those who had infirmities of unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down and cried out and were saying, You are the Son of Eloah.
12 And he severely rebuked them that they not recognize him.
13 And he ascended into a mountain and called those whom he wanted, and they came to him.
14 And he chose twelve to be with him and that he might send them to proclaim
15 and to be authorities to heal the sick and cast out devils.
16 And he called Shim'on on the name Kefa,
17 and Ya'akov bar Zavdai, and Yochanan his brother he gave the name B'nai Reg'sh, which is, sons of thunder.
18 And [he chose] Andrew and Philip and Bar Talmai and Mattitiyahu and T'oma and Ya'akov bar Alphaeus, and Taddai and Shim'on the Zealot,
19 And Y'hudah Of the Shore of Skriot, who betrayed him; and they came to a house.
20 And the crowds gathered again so that they were not able to eat bread.
21 And his kinsmen heard and went out to seize him, for they were saying that he was out of his mind.
22 And the scribes who had come down from Yerushalayim were saying, Ba'al Z'bub is in him, and he casts out devils by the chief of the devils.
23 And Yeshua called them and in parables said to them, How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 And if Satan stands against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand but is [at] his end.
27 No man is able to enter the house of a strong man and to seize his possessions except he first bind the strong man and then plunder his house.
28 Truly, I say to you that all of the sins and blasphemies that the sons of men will blaspheme will be forgiven them.
29 But he who blasphemes concerning the Ruach HaKodesh has not forgiveness forever, but is guilty before the judgment that is eternal
35 For he who does the will of Eloah is my brother and my sister and my mother.

CHAPTER 4
1 And again he began to teach by the sea. And large crowds were gathered around him so that he embarked and sat in a boat on the sea, and the entire crowd was standing on the land by the sea.
6 But when the sun came up [the plant] withered and because it had no root, it withered.
10 Now while they were alone, those who were with him with his twelve asked him concerning that parable.
11 And Yeshua said to them, To you is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of Eloah. But to [those] outside, everything is in parables
12 Who when they see, they will see yet not see, and when they hear, they will hear yet not understand lest they repent and their sins be forgiven them.
And when affliction or persecution happens on account of the word, they are quickly offended.
21 And he said to them, Is there any profit for a lamp to be placed under a bushel or under a pallet? Should it not be placed upon a lamp stand?
22 For there is not anything that is hidden that will not be revealed or [anything] done in secret and not revealed.
23 If a man has ears to hear, let him hear.
24 And he said to them, Watch what you hear. With that measure that you measure it is measured to you, and it is increased to you who hear.
25 For he who has, it will be given to him. And he who has not, even that which he has will be taken from him.
26 And he said, Such is the kingdom of Eloah like a man who casts seed upon the ground.
27 And he will sleep and rise in the night and in the day, and the seed will grow and sprout while he does not know [how],
28 For the land brings forth the fruit. And first comes the plant, and after it the ear, and finally the full grain in the ear.
29 And when the fruit is ripe, immediately the sickle comes because the harvest has arrived.
30 And he said, What is like the kingdom of Eloah and with what parable can we compare it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard, which when it is planted in the ground, is the least of all the seed that are upon earth.
32 And when it is planted it grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs and produces great branches so that the bird is able to nest in its shade.
33 With parables like these Yeshua was speaking with them, parables such as they were able to hear.
34 And without parables, he was not speaking with them. But he was explaining everything to his talmidim privately.
35 And he said to them on the same day at evening, Let us cross over to the other shore.
36 And they left the crowds and conducted him away while in a boat, and there were other boats with them.
37 And there was a great storm and wind, and waves were falling into the boat, and [the boat] was about to be filled.
38 And Yeshua was asleep on a pillow in the stern of the ship, and they came [and] aroused him and were saying to him, Master, do you not care that we perish?
39 And he arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Cease; be confined." And the wind ceased and a great rest occurred.
40 And he said to them, Why are you fearful in this manner? And why do you not have trust?
41 And they greatly feared and were saying one to another, Who indeed is this [man] that the winds and sea obey him?
