Chag HaSukkoth – Feast of the Tabernacles, booths, tents.

Wayiqqra [Leviticus] 23:33-43, " and YHWH spoke to mosheh, saying, ³⁴ 'speak to the sons of yisrael, saying, "in the fifteenth day of this seventh month will be a chag hasukkoth seven days to YHWH. ³⁵ on the first day will be a set apart gathering; you will do no work of service. ³⁶ seven days you will bring a fire offering to YHWH; on the eighth day you will have a set apart gathering; and you will bring the fire offering to YHWH; it is a solemn assembly; you will do no work of service. ³⁷ these are the set moadey of YHWH which you will proclaim, set apart gatherings, to bring a fire offering to YHWH, a burnt offering, and a food offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, the thing of a day on its own day; ³⁸ besides the shabbathoth of YHWH, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you will give to YHWH. ³⁹ and on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you [asif]gather the increase of the land, you will celebrate the feast of YHWH seven days; on the first day a shabbathon, and on the eighth day a shabbathon. ⁴⁰ and you will take to yourselves, on the first day, the fruit of majestic trees, palms of themariym, and branches of oak trees, and willows of the river, and you will rejoice before the face of YHWH your elohey seven days. ⁴¹ and you will celebrate a feast to YHWH, seven days in a year, an eternal rule for your generations; in the seventh month you will celebrate it. ⁴² in sukkoth you will sit seven days; all who are native in yisrael will sit in sukkoth, ⁴³ so that your generations will know that in sukkoth, i caused the sons of yisrael to live, when I brought them from the land of mitsrayim; i am YHWH your elohey." ' ⁴⁴ and mosheh proclaimed the moadey of YHWH to the sons of yisrael."

BeMidbar [Numbers] 29:12-38, " ' and on the fifteenth day of the seventh month a set apart assembly you will have; you will do no servile work; and you will celebrate a festival to YHWH seven days. ¹³ and will bring near a burnt offering, a fire offering, a sweet fragrance, to YHWH; thirteen bulls, sons of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year; perfect ones they are. ¹⁴ and their present, flour mixed with oil, three-tenth deals to the one bull, for the thirteen bulls, two-tenth deals to the one ram, for the two rams. ¹⁵ and a several tenth deal to the one lamb, for the fourteen lambs. ¹⁶ and one kid of the goats, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, its present, and its drink offering. ¹⁷ and on the second day twelve bulls, sons of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ¹⁸ and their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the sheep, in their number, according to the judgement. ¹⁹ and one kid of the goats, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, and its present, and their drink offerings. ²⁰ and on the third day eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ²¹ and their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgment. ²² and one goat, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, and its present, and its drink offering. ²³ and on the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ²⁴ their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgement. ²⁵ and one kid of the goats, a sin offering, apart from the continual burnt offering, its present, and its drink offering. ²⁶ and on the fifth day nine bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ²⁷ and their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgement. ²⁸ and one goat, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, and its present, and its drink offering. ²⁹ and on the sixth day eight bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ³⁰ and their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgement. ³¹ and one goat, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, its present, and its drink offering. ³² and on the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ³³ and their present, and their drink offerings, for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgement. ³⁴ and one goat, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, its present, and its drink offering. ³⁵ on the eighth day a restraint you will have, do no servile work. ³⁶ and you will bring near a burnt offering, a fire offering, a sweet fragrance, to YHWH; one bull, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones. ³⁷ their present, and their drink offerings, for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, in their number, according to the judgement. ³⁸ and one goat, a sin offering; apart from the continual burnt offering, and its present, and its drink offering. ³⁹ these you will prepare to YHWH on your moadiym, apart from your vows, and your free will offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your presents, and for your drink offerings, and for your shalom offerings.' "

HaDebariym [Deuteronomy] 16:13-16, " ' you will keep the chag hasukkoth seven days after you have gathered [asif] in from your threshing floor, and from your winepress. ¹⁴ and you will rejoice in your feast, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave girl, and the lewiy, and the ger, and the fatherless, and the widow that are inside your gates. ¹⁵ you will keep a solemn feast seven days to YHWH your elohey in the place which YHWH will choose; for YHWH your elohey will bless you in all your produce, and in every work of your hands, and you will be altogether joyful. ¹⁶ three times in a year will all your males appear before YHWH your elohey in the place which he will choose, on the chag hamatstsoth, and on the chag hashabuoth and on the chag hasukkoth. and they will not appear before YHWH empty.' "

ZekarYahu [Zechariah] 14:16,18,19, " 'and it will be, everyone who is left from all the goyim which came up against yerushalaim will go up from year to year to worship the king, YHWH tsebaoth, and to keep chag hasukkoth. ¹⁷ and it will be, whoever will not go up from the families of the earth to yerushalaim to worship the king, YHWH tsebaoth, there will even be no rain on them. ¹⁸ and if the family of mitsrayim does not go up, nor come in, then the rain will not be on them, but the plague with which YHWH will strike the goyim who do not come up to keep chag hasukkoth. ¹⁹ this will be the offense of mitsrayim, and the offense of all goyim who do not come up to keep chag hasukkoth.' "

II Dibrey HaYamiym [Chronicles] 8:13, "then shlomoh offered burnt offerings to YHWH on the altar of YHWH that he had built before the porch, ¹³ even as the matter of every day required, offering according to the commands of mosheh, on the shabbathoth, and on the new moons, and on the moadoth three times in the year, on chag hamatstsoth, and on chag hashabuoth, and on chag hasukkoth."

NechemYahu 8:14-17, " and they found written in the thorah which YHWH had commanded by mosheh, that the sons of yisrael should sit in sukkoth on the feast of the seventh month, ¹⁵ and that they should make heard and cause to pass the call in all their cities, and in yerushalaim, saying, 'go forth to the mountain and bring olive leaves and wild olive leaves, and myrtle leaves, and leaves of palm, and leaves of thick trees, to make sukkoth, as it is written.' ¹⁶ and the people went out and brought in, and made sukkoth for themselves, each man on his roof and in their courts, and in the courts of the beyth of the elohiym, and in the plaza of the water gate, and in the plaza of the efrayim gate. ¹⁷ and all the assembly of those who had come again out of the captivity made sukkoth, and sat under the sukkoth. for since the days of yahusha` ben nun until that day, the sons of yisrael had not done so. and there was very great gladness."
