Chag Shabuoth – Feast of Weeks, from shibah – seven, week.

The following are verses from the Scripture. The study is separate.

Shemoth [Exodus] 34:22 " 'and chag shabuoth you will prepare for yourself, the first fruits of the harvest of wheat, and chag haasyif at the coming around of the year.' "

Wayiqqra [Leviticus] 23:15-22, " ' and you will number to you from the next day after the shabbath, from the day you bring in the sheaf of the wave offering; they will be seven complete shabbathoth. ¹⁶ the next day after the seventh shabbath, you will number fifty days; and you will bring near a new food offering to YHWH; ¹⁷ you will bring in bread out of your dwellings for a wave offering, two loaves; they will be of two tenth ephah of flour; they will be baked with leaven; firstfruits to YHWH ¹⁸ and besides the bread, you will offer seven lambs, without blemish, sons of a year, and one bull, a son of the herd, and two rams; they are a burnt offering to YHWH, with their food offering and their drink offerings, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to YHWH. ¹⁹ and you will offer one he goat for a sin offering, and two lambs, sons of a year, for a sacrifice of shalom offerings. ²⁰ and the kohen will wave them, besides the bread of the firstfruits, a wave offering before YHWH, besides the two lambs; they are set apart to YHWH for the kohen. ²¹ and you will make a proclamation on this same day; it is a set apart gathering to you. you will do no work of service. it is a eternal rule in all your bathey throughout your generations. ²² and when you reap the harvest of your land, you will not completely reap the corner of your field, nor will you gather the gleaning of your harvest; you will leave them for the poor, and for the ger, i am YHWH your elohey.' "

BeMidbar [Numbers] 28:26-31, " 'and in the day of the first-fruits, in your bringing near a new present to YHWH, in your weeks, a set apart assembly you will have; you will do no servile work. ²⁷ and you will bring near a burnt offering for sweet fragrance to YHWH, two bulls, sons of the herd, one ram, seven lambs, sons of a year. ²⁸ and their present, flour mixed with oil, three-tenth deals to the one bull, two-tenth deals to the one ram. ²⁹ a several tenth deal to the one lamb, for the seven lambs. ³⁰ one kid of the goats to make atonement for you. ³¹ apart from the continual burnt offering and its present you will prepare, perfect ones they are for you and their drink offerings.' "

HaDebariym [Deuteronomy] 16:9,10,16, " 'you will number to yourself seven weeks. when the sickle begins to reap in the standing grain, you will begin to number seven weeks. ¹⁰ and you will keep chag shabuoth to YHWH your elohey according to the measure of the freewill offering of your hand, which you will give according as YHWH your elohey blesses you." " '¹⁶ three times in a year will all your males appear before YHWH your elohey in the place which he will choose, on the chag hamatstsoth, and on the chag hashabuoth and on the chag hasukkoth. and they will not appear before YHWH empty,' "

II Dibrey HaYamiym [Chronicles] 8:13, "even as the matter of every day required, offering according to the commands of mosheh, on the shabbathoth, and on the new moons, and on the moadoth three times in the year, on chag hamatstsoth, and on chag hashabuoth, and on chag hasukkoth."
